REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture)Implementation Workshop

Big data collection methods have always been a headache for researchers. REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a set of clinical research electronic data collection system used to construct and manage research databases, which is helpful for the collation and analysis of clinical big data data Developed by Vanderbilt University in the United States for more than ten years, more than 4,000 research institutions in 137 countries have used it to publish more than 7,000 papers. The main purpose of REDCap is to provide registration of clinical studies, to electronically copy the case report form (Case Report Form), only to use a browser to operate, REDCap also provides a secure and confidential data storage network database . In order to enable the members of the sub-project team of this center to have the basic operation ability of REDCap, We hope that through the practical operation and practice skills of this course, the ability to use the basic REDCap will be improved.

【Remarks】

1. Because the venue is not a computer classroom, please take the participants to bring their own computers to participate.

2. In order for the course to proceed smoothly, students are requested to apply for a REDCap account at the Cohort Research Center website.
